Farewell Afternoon Tea for Michael and Uli Safari
After more than 22 years of faithful ministry at St John’s, Michael Safari will be concluding his role as our Persian Pastor.
Michael and Uli have been woven into the life of our church family for more than two decades. Their sons grew up here, their lives have been shared here, and their ministry has been a gift not only to the Persian congregation, but to the whole of St John’s.
Through Michael’s faithful leadership of the Persian ministry, St John’s has had the privilege of seeing the gospel shared, taught and lived across cultures and languages. This has been a significant and deeply valued part of our church’s life.
As Michael and Uli have now made their home in the Blue Mountains, this is an important moment for us to gather, give thanks to God for them, honour their many years of service, and farewell them with love.
Please join us for an afternoon tea as we thank God for Michael and Uli and the lasting impact they have had among us.
