Praying for the Appointment of a New Senior Canon

The appointment of a new Senior Canon is a matter of great importance in the life of our Church. We therefore invite the whole family of St John's to join us in seeking the Lord's guidance through prayer.

A series of dedicated prayer meetings will be held over the coming months, both in person and online, as we commit this appointment to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Our first prayer gathering will be held at St John's Anglican Cathedral on Sunday the 9 August 2026, at 2:00pm. We warmly encourage as many members of our St Johns family as possible to attend as we unite in prayer, asking God to grant wisdom, discernment and His clear leading throughout this process.

Psalm 127:1 reminds us that:
"Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labour in vain."
